Gustave Courbet Two Ladies Reclining Against Tree 1856 Poster
Two women in pale dresses recline against a great tree trunk by the river. A dreamy Courbet 1856 riverside scene.
Description
This poster presents Gustave Courbet's "Young Ladies on the Banks of the Seine" (1856): two women in flowing white and blue dresses lounge against a massive tree trunk at the water's edge, hands tucked behind their heads. The soft light through the leaves gives the scene a lazy summer-afternoon calm. A serene realist print for bedrooms and quiet corners.
