Gustave Baumann Views From The Country Woodblock Landscape Poster
A purple-and-gold woodblock landscape by Gustave Baumann from the ‘Views from the Country’ series.
Description
This poster reproduces Gustave Baumann's woodblock scene of tall pine trees and violet hills under a hazy gold sky. The lower margin carries the text 'Gustave Baumann, Views from the Country, Cleveland Museum of Art.' Bold flat blocks of color make it a warm statement piece for living rooms, studies, or hallways.
