Gustav Kalhammer 1907 Blumenstock Birds Flower Bush Vienna Poster
A 1907 Wiener Werkstatte postcard design by Gustav Kalhammer, with two birds perched on a stylized flowering bush.
Description
This faithful reproduction of Kalhammer's 1907 Blumenstock postcard (Wiener Werkstatte No. 51) shows two orange birds on a symmetrical green and red flowering bush against deep black. Its flat graphic shapes and dotted border are pure Viennese modernism. A charming botanical print for kitchens and dining rooms.
