Exmoor Travel Poster, National Park Illustration

Exmoor National Park is handled in the flat color and confident lettering of a mid-century travel poster. The landscape is simplified rather than detailed, which is exactly what gives the style its punch and makes it instantly readable on a wall.

Stair walls and hallways take posters like this well, and so does a study, mudroom, or anywhere near hiking boots and outdoor gear. It gains a lot from hanging in a row with other national park and travel posters.

Hikers who know Exmoor, adventure travelers, and outdoor enthusiasts are the audience. It works as a present marking a visit, or as the start of a travel-poster collection someone will keep adding to over time.
