Eugene Boudin Trouville Pink Parasols Facing Sea 1864 Poster
Women with pink parasols face a blazing sea in Boudin’s joyful 1864 Trouville painting.
Description
Two women in billowing dresses hold pink parasols high as they face the sea at Trouville in this 1864 painting by Eugène Boudin. Sunlight blazes across the water and sand in exuberant brushwork. The poster-style print frames the scene in black, naming Boudin, the year and the place — joyful, sun-drenched Normandy beach art.
