Egyptian Cat With Newspaper, Humorous Bathroom Decor

An Egyptian cat assumes the classic pose of someone absorbed in the morning paper—except the bathroom is the venue and the toilet is the throne. The humor is gentle and observational, not crude, and the Egyptian styling gives it a tongue-in-cheek sophistication.

Bathrooms are the obvious home for this one, hung where guests will spot it and smile. It also works in a powder room, a laundry area, or any space that benefits from a bit of levity without needing to stay serious.

Cat lovers with a sense of humor are the core audience, along with anyone who decorates a bathroom to be memorable rather than blank. Give it to a friend with a cat and a good laugh, or to anyone who has claimed the bathroom as their five-minute refuge.
