E A Seguy Samarkande Plate 13 Coral Tree Blue Blossom Pattern Poster
A coral-branch tree hung with blue spiral blossoms on pale ground, from Séguy’s Samarkande plate 13. Whimsical and decorative.
Description
Plate 13 of Séguy's Samarkande series shows a fantastical coral-red tree dotted with gold, its branches hung with swirling blue-and-white blossoms against a pale blue-green ground. The design, in the Oriental taste, was published by Ch. Massin in Paris. Dreamy and decorative, it brings a playful vintage pattern to nurseries, living rooms and eclectic walls.
