Durham Travel Poster, England Wall Art Print
A travel poster of Durham, England rendered in the style of a mid-century illustration for a home or office wall.
Description
Durham appears here in the graphic, simplified style of a vintage travel poster, with the confident lettering and flat color that defined mid-century tourism art. Northumberland's cathedral city gets the poster treatment as a destination worth the journey.
Stair walls and hallways work well for travel posters, and this one pairs easily with other regional or historical prints hung as a series. A home office or study benefits from having somewhere real to focus on, especially if you have visited or plan to.
People who have walked Durham's streets and those planning a trip will both take to this. It suits a gallery wall of British destinations, or a present marking a visit to the northeast.
