Dont Shiver Next Winter Order Coal Now Penguin Vintage Poster
A lovable penguin in a scarf and bonnet reminds you to order coal before winter in this American fuel-saving poster.
Description
'Don't shiver next winter' reads the top of this mid-century public service poster, pairing a shivering cartoon penguin with a coal shovel against a snowy blue backdrop. Issued by the Solid Fuels Administration in Washington D.C., it urged households to order coal early. Charming and nostalgic, it brings warmth to any winter or vintage-ad collection.
