Claude Monet Chasse Maree Sailboat At Anchor Seine River Art Poster
A tall-masted lugger at anchor on the Seine in soft morning light. Quiet blues in a classic Musee d’Orsay poster.
Description
Between 1871 and 1872, Monet painted this chasse-maree lugger riding at anchor, its masts rising into a pale blue sky. The Musee d'Orsay exhibition layout gives it authentic museum character. Serene and maritime, lovely for studies, bedrooms and coastal homes. A great gift for sailing fans.
