Catalina Santa Catalina Scenic Riviera Los Angeles Vintage Travel Poster
This vintage Catalina poster calls it the Scenic Riviera of the U.S.A., showing palms, a mission chapel and a white steamer under green mountains. Classic California island dreaming.
Description
Promoting Santa Catalina as a short delightful voyage from Los Angeles, this poster shows the island's waterfront: palm trees, a Spanish-style chapel, gardens and a gleaming ocean liner. The saturated colors and bold Catalina banner typify mid-century American travel art. A cheerful piece for California and island decor collectors.
