Canada Mountie Stylized Face Alitalia Airline Vintage Travel Poster
An Alitalia poster for Canada in which a smiling Mountie in a Stetson forms the word CANADA, surrounded by colorful city blocks, a harbor and sailboats.
Description
The playful Italian design turns the Canadian icon into bold red typography, with a tiny Alitalia jet overhead. Skyscrapers, houses and boats fill the composition in flat mid-century color. A witty and rare piece of 1960s airline advertising.
