Berthe Morisot Mother and Sister Reading Indoors 1869 Poster
A quiet 1869 interior scene of two women reading in a dim Paris room. Intimate Impressionist warmth for bookish interiors.
Description
Morisot's 1869 portrait of her mother and sister shows the two women absorbed in a book in a softly lit interior, one in a teal floral dress. The poster is styled with a black border lettered 'MORISOT', '1869-1870' and 'THE MOTHER AND SISTER OF THE ARTIST — PARIS FRANCE'. A soulful choice for libraries, reading nooks and vintage-inspired rooms.
