Atom na Sluzhbe Mira Soviet Peaceful Nuclear Matchbox Art Poster
The atom in the service of peace: a glowing Soviet matchbox with power lines and a factory. Bold atomic-age propaganda art.
Description
This print reproduces a Soviet matchbox label reading Аtom na sluzhbe mira, the atom in the service of peace, printed to GOST 1820-77. A radiant orange atom sun rises over power pylons and factory chimneys. A powerful example of Soviet atomic-age graphic design for history and science art collectors.
