Amsterdam – Vintage Travel Poster
A vintage travel poster of Amsterdam rendered in the classic style of mid-century European tourism art.
Description
Amsterdam is handled in the flat color and graphic simplicity that defined mid-century travel posters. The city gets a stylized rather than photographic treatment, with the confident lettering and composed palette that made these posters iconic.
Stair walls and hallways suit posters like this, and so does a study, den, or entryway where travel themes already live. It gains power hung as part of a group with other European city or regional posters.
Travelers who have visited Amsterdam, people collecting European travel posters, and anyone furnishing a home with a wanderlust angle are the audience. It works as a memento after a trip, or as the beginning of a travel-poster wall someone will keep building.
