Alpe Dhuez Ski Print, France Mountain Resort Art

Alpe d'Huez, one of France's premier ski resorts, is handled in the flat color and bold lettering of a mid-century travel poster. The mountain landscape is simplified for graphic impact, capturing the energy of alpine skiing in a timeless style.

Stair walls, hallways, and ski lodge interiors suit this well, and it pairs naturally with other vintage resort or mountain posters hung as a group. The retro aesthetic works in a den, a cabin, or anywhere with wood tones and warm lighting.

Skiers who have run Alpe d'Huez, winter sports enthusiasts, and alpine architecture fans are the audience. Give it as a present to mark a ski trip, or to someone furnishing a mountain home or cabin.
