Allevard Les Bains Isere French Alps Spa Vintage Travel Poster
A P.L.M. railway poster for Allevard-les-Bains, showing a couple overlooking the spa town with snowy Alpine peaks behind. Reduced-fare tickets are promised at the foot of the mountains.
Description
The Paris-Lyon-Mediterranee railway invites visitors to Allevard-les-Bains in the Isere Alps, at 475 metres altitude, with reduced-price tickets. A roundel view of the thermal establishment and a pastoral foreground complete the scene. The soft lithographic coloring makes it a gentle, nostalgic piece of French spa-town history.
