Description
A funeral procession climbs a hill in this Burial at Ornans-inspired poster, led by a tall wooden cross carried among women in black. The black border carries COURBET, 1850 and ORNANS FRANCE. Solemn, rhythmic and painterly – a moving piece of French realist wall art.
