A Burial at Ornans Hooded Bearers Carrying Coffin 1850 Courbet Poster
Hooded bearers carrying a plain wooden coffin through a crowd, styled as a solemn Courbet poster.
Description
In this stark reimagining of A Burial at Ornans, hooded bearers carry a plain wooden coffin on their shoulders through a silent sea of mourners. The black border carries COURBET, 1850 and ORNANS FRANCE. Minimal, graphic and deeply solemn – a striking French realist-inspired wall piece.
