1917 Kunsthalle Basel Swiss Artists Society Exhibition Poster
A radiant figure rises between flames on this 1917 Basel exhibition poster. Dramatic early-modernist art for bold walls.
Description
Announcing the seventh exhibition of the Swiss painters sculptors and architects society at the Kunsthalle Basel in spring 1917, this poster pairs a radiant figure with expressionist color. The luminous rising figure between flames is full of early-century energy and bold optimism. A rare-feeling piece for collectors of exhibition art and Swiss modernism.
