1916 Cloudy Moorland Sky Antique Landscape Oil Painting Poster
A vast 1916 landscape dominated by towering cumulus clouds over open moorland.
Description
Dated 1916 in the lower right, this painting gives the sky the leading role: sculpted white clouds drift over a muted patchwork of heath and low hills. Painted in earthy ochres and slate blues with an impressionistic touch. A contemplative landscape for lovers of skies and solitude.
