Alpe Dhuez Winter Sports, Ski House Decoration

Alpe d'Huez gets the treatment of a classic mid-century ski poster, with the flat color and bold lettering that defined the era. The Alpine setting is simplified to capture the spirit of the resort rather than every ridge and lift, lending it the graphic confidence that makes vintage ski posters so appealing.

Stair walls and hallways suit it well, and it pairs naturally with other ski posters or mountain travel prints hung as a series. A cabin, a lodge, or a home office with a mountain view all give it the right context, and it looks equally at home in a city apartment belonging to someone who skis.

Skiers who have raced or trained at Alpe d'Huez are the obvious audience, along with anyone collecting ski-resort posters or French Alpine memorabilia. Give it to mark a trip to the resort, or to a friend building a winter-sports wall.
