Winter Park Ski Resort Travel Poster, Colorado

Winter Park and its ski slopes are handled in the flat color and confident lettering of a mid-century travel poster. The mountain landscape is simplified rather than detailed, giving the design the visual punch that defines the style.

Stair walls, hallways, and mudrooms suit posters like this well, and it gains energy from hanging alongside other ski resort or state park prints. The cool tones work comfortably with wood trim and matte black or natural frames.

Skiers who have ridden Winter Park, Colorado natives, and vintage-poster collectors are the audience. Give it as a present marking a trip to the mountain, or as the beginning of a travel-poster wall someone keeps adding to year after year.
