Matisse 1953 Bergguren Exhibition Sage Green Cut Out Leaf Poster
A sage green Henri Matisse exhibition poster with his iconic white cut-out leaf motif. A timeless piece of mid-century gallery art for modern interiors.
Description
This poster reproduces the 1953 Paris exhibition announcement for Henri Matisse at Bergguren & Cie, with the artist's name in elegant serif type above and below a bold white organic cut-out on sage green. The printed text gives the gallery address on Rue de l'Universite and the exhibition dates from late February to late March 1953. A sophisticated nod to modernism that suits minimalist and Scandinavian spaces.
