Eugene Boudin Trouville Sunset Figures Grand Buildings 1864 Poster
Dark figures walk a glittering sunset beach in Boudin’s atmospheric 1864 Trouville painting.
Description
Two dark figures walk a glittering beach at sunset in this 1864 Trouville painting by Eugène Boudin, with the town's grand buildings crowning the shore and a sailboat on the horizon. The sky burns with color above the surf. The poster-style print frames the scene in black with the artist's name, year and place — dramatic, atmospheric Normandy evening art.
