Johan Jongkind Seated Figure in Snowy Woods Winter 1875 Poster
A solitary woman sits beside a mirror-still snowy pool in the winter woods, 1875. Contemplative, hushed winter art.
Description
A lone woman in a long dress sits beside a mirror-still pool edged with snow in the hush of winter woods, a small dog in the distance, in this contemplative 1875 scene. The border is lettered 'JONGKIND', '1875' and 'SNOW EFFECT IN HOLLAND — ROTTERDAM NETHERLADS' exactly as printed. A meditative print for reading rooms and calm spaces.
