Matisse Lescargot 1953 Giant Orange Spiral With Gazing Figure Poster
A tiny woman gazes up at a towering orange spiral in this awe-filled Matisse Lescargot 1953 exhibition poster.
Description
MATISSE, L'ESCARGOT, 1953 and NICE FRANCE frame a monumental rust-and-amber vortex dwarfing a small figure in green at its base. The scale contrast is humbling and cinematic. A powerful statement for large walls and double-height spaces.
