Snow Covered Nikko Pagoda Shiro Kasamatsu Winter Woodblock Poster
A five storied pagoda rises through snow laden cedars in this Shiro Kasamatsu winter woodblock. Two bundled figures climb the snowy steps at Nikko.
Description
Deep snow blankets the famous pagoda at Nikko as towering cedars bend under its weight. A pair of travelers in winter dress makes its way up the snowy path past the vermilion fence. Kasamatsu contrasts the crisp white snow with the warm red of the pagoda roofs. This atmospheric winter scene brings quiet seasonal beauty to any wall.
