Description
This striking 1895 poster by Ethel Reed advertises Jose Echegaray's play "Folly or Saintliness" with a red-haired woman holding a poppy against a black ground. Bold color blocks and floral corners make it a standout of early American poster art. A historic piece for Art Nouveau collectors.
