Ostrava Mining Excavator Vintage Industrial Machinery Czech Art Print
Bold mid-century industrial artwork of a giant Ostrava mining excavator, reproduced from a vintage Czech matchbox label. A striking statement piece for lovers of heavy machinery and Soviet-era design.
Description
This print enlarges a genuine vintage Czechoslovak matchbox label celebrating „velkostroje pro těžbu hornin“ — giant machines for mining — built by Hutní Montáže Ostrava. The rust-red excavator looms against a teal sky in strong mid-century industrial graphics, stamped with the 1950–1975 anniversary mark. It is perfect wall art for engineering offices, workshops and industrial-style interiors. Collectors of Czech and Eastern Bloc ephemera will value its authentic retro character.
