Description
Tsuchiya Koitsu's 'Long Spell of Rain' is a masterclass in atmosphere, with fine lines of rain falling over thatched roofs and glistening paths. The contrast of cozy lamplight and cool night blue makes the scene glow from within. A beloved shin-hanga print for collectors of Japanese night scenes. Its dramatic calm suits bedrooms and quiet reading corners.
