Pointe de Penmarch Finistere Brittany Vintage Coastal Poster
The Pointe de Penmarch in Finistere, Brittany, with its golden chapel and crowds on the shore, advertised by the Paris-Orleans railway. Striking mauve skies.
Description
Issued by the Chemin de Fer de Paris a Orleans, this poster shows the Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Joie at Pointe de Penmarch with pilgrims and beachgoers below. The unusual purple-gold palette gives it a distinctive modernist feel. A fine piece for Brittany and French coastal collectors.
