Taj Mahal Agra Reflecting Indias Glory Vintage Travel Poster
A vintage Indian travel poster for Agra, captioned Reflecting India’s Glory, showing the Taj Mahal mirrored in a pool edged with flowering water lilies.
Description
The white marble mausoleum rises behind manicured gardens while lotus blossoms fill the foreground water. Signed by the artist D. Newsome, the poster uses luminous blues and greens in a painterly early travel-poster style. A graceful piece for lovers of Indian art and architecture.
