La Francaise Bicycle Knight Armor Vintage French Advertising Poster
A French bicycle poster with a knight in full armor leaning on his bike before a castle. Societe La Francaise in a striking medieval-meets-modern design.
Description
This antique French poster for Societe La Francaise shows a knight in shining armor, plumed helmet and sword in hand, resting against a Diamant-tired bicycle. Behind him rises a castle above golden wheat fields in a rich, painterly style. Signed Pal, it blends medieval romance with the modern bicycle in a way only 1890s advertising could. A superb choice for cycling history fans and lovers of French poster art.
