Mondrian Yellow Sky and Purple Clouds Over Deep Blue Sea Poster
Piet Mondrian paints a stormy sky in yellow and violet over a striped blue sea. A luminous early seascape from his luminist period.
Description
Before the grids came the sea: this early Mondrian study sets purple clouds against a glowing yellow sky above horizontal bands of blue water. Bold and atmospheric, it bridges impressionism and modernism. A captivating piece for modern art collections, striking as Frame TV art too.
