Hvar Travel Poster, Croatia Beach Illustration

Dubovica beach on the island of Hvar appears in the flat color and graphic style of a mid-century travel poster. The Adriatic setting and coastal landscape are simplified rather than photorealistic, which gives the design its visual strength and retro appeal.

Stair walls and hallways suit travel posters especially well, and they also work in a study, an entryway, or a home office. Pair it with other regional or travel prints hung in a row for a gallery wall that tells a story.

Travelers who have been to Croatia, people planning a trip, and Dalmatian coast enthusiasts are the natural audience. It makes a good present marking a summer vacation, or as the first piece in a growing collection of travel posters someone will keep adding to.
