Antarctica Travel Poster, Emperor Penguin Art Print

An emperor penguin stands as the subject of this travel poster, rendered in the flat color and graphic style of mid-century travel design. The Antarctic setting is simplified rather than photographic, which is what gives the vintage poster approach its visual punch.

Office walls and dorm rooms suit travel posters well, especially when hung alongside other destination prints to build a gallery. A hallway or staircase also works, and the print pairs easily with warm wood frames or simple matte black.

Travelers who have been to Antarctica, penguin enthusiasts, and collectors of vintage travel art are the audience. It makes a solid present for someone planning a polar expedition, or for a coworker's desk who dreams of cold-weather adventure.
