Alaska Travel Poster, Black Bear Illustration
A black bear in Alaska rendered in the style of a mid-century vintage travel poster for North America.
Description
Alaska's black bear is presented in the flat color and bold lines of a classic mid-century travel poster. The landscape is simplified and the lettering confident, which is what gives this style its lasting appeal and graphic punch.
Stair walls and hallways suit posters like this, as do studies, dens, or mudrooms where outdoor gear hangs. It gains impact hung with other state and national park posters, building a travel wall over time.
Hikers, Alaska travelers, and wildlife enthusiasts are the natural audience, particularly people who collect regional posters. Give it after a trip to mark the journey, or start a series of North American park and state prints someone will keep adding to.
